PROJECT: FORT PART: THREE MAYOR OF FORT TOWN

-Cut out excess expenditures and funnel it into Project: Fort.
-Reduce my reliance on modern day services and luxuries to prepare for some time off the grid.  By doing this, I reduce my need to spend on money on these services.  Also, early prep for purchasing off the grid land, or at least provide viability for property that's far-flung from society.
-Keep working towards leaving the call center.  Going to funnel money into my personal training certifications.
-Do more work with my hands.  Get used to building things and working on cars.
-First up, going to rock out the blueprints for a wood power rack
-Keep getting stronger.  You can't build stuff if you get tired all the time.
-Remove all debt.  Pay off the credit card and keep it payed off.  It's a waste of money.
-Cook all my meals.  They will cost less and also be a lot better for me.
-Sell all the things I really don't need.
-Continue to read and learn
-Keep learning to shred on the guitar
-Motorcycles (uhhh yeah less gas spent?  YEAH THAT'S WHY IT'S...ESSENTIAL)
-Video logs detailing my progress

The fort is the manifestation of all the hard work we're going to do, but it's not the "goal" or the reason.  I want to live differently.  I'm going to work towards living my life by the beat of my own separate drum.  Bring down my cost of living and shoot up the happiness.  Reduce the reliability on pre-packaged foods and carbonated drinks.  Live debt free.  Shake off some of the chains.

For everyone reading this, I extend PROJECT: FORT out to you as well.  I don't want to fly strictly solo.  EVERYONE SHOULD GET STOKED!  I'm going to start up a Youtube channel and post the little things I'm going to be doing to work on PROJECT: FORT.  The easiest way to help is to share my blog posts and videos.  Frankly, I would rather have you post your own videos or submit some of that written word about what you are doing.  I would put it up on the blog in a heartbeat!  Wanna know if it counts?  Does it help build the Fort?  In whatever metaphorical sense that is, it counts (Here's how far-flung out that statement is, If I start eating broccolli that helps build the fort).  EVERYTHING HELPS.  If you go out and buy a busted down ride and fix it on the cheap instead of buying a new car...POST IT UP.  I want everything, if PROJECT: FORT inspired you to make a change or work on something.  I WANT YOU TO TELL ME.

Keep in mind, PROJECT: FORT won't end.  It will keep growing and snowballing.  First comes the small victories, then the milestones, and eventually we will reach the stars.  It just takes time, let's roll.

  1. I love this. Hope you can stick to it; it will not be easy. There is a reason so many people live sub-optimal lives.
