A Controversial Decision

I quit my call center job yesterday.  No two weeks, I turned in my badge, said good bye to my supervisor, and wrote out my letter of resignation.  I worked there for 10 months.  My decision, as far as the big picture is concerned: job dissatisfaction.  They updated their "Dispute Resolution Plan" or DRP.  To summarize it stated that by staying employed you formally give up the ability to be representative in any group capacity (class action lawsuits) the only way to disagree was to terminate employment.  Which is exactly what I did, I believe too strongly in worker's rights to let that kind of stuff slide.

I left the call center feeling pretty irresponsible, but the family supported my decision and trusted my work ethic.  Also, by the end of the night I felt great knowing that I was not going to make that company anymore money.

I didn't think that being employed full time could alter my way of thinking and handling things, but it did.  I am much more on track now than I ever have been.  I do already have a few job openings that I'm applying for to start re-earning some cash.  As of right now though, I feel fantastic.

With my spare time increasing dramatically, stay tuned for more posts!
