Transparency

One thing I aim to do with my blog is be transparent and honest.  I want you guys to know what I do, my intentions, and why I do them.  I want you to know the man behind the words.  I'm the same way at work or trying to sell a snowboard.  I'm honest, and I have no interest in screwing people.  Not my style.

Statement of Intent:

The plan with the Brilliant Bastard is simple.  Make it huge, make it awesome, make it great, and make money from it.  I'm with Kevin Smith all the way.  Find out what you love and then monetize it.  I love writing, I love motivating, and I love being the center of attention.  Eventually I'm going to transfer everything to private hosting, probably set everything up on Wordpress, put some ads up, and maybe sell some sweet posters/t-shirts whatever.  That's right someday you'll be able to buy a shirt that has "TheBrilliantBastard.com" on it.  I bet you fell out of your chair in excitement.

I write a lot about motivation, growth, and physical fitness because I'm passionate about these subjects.  I want to inspire.  I want to educate.  I want to see you succeed.  With that being said, I also plan to write about some of my on the job stories and a few times I was truly a fuck wad and quit my job (there's one that is commonly referred to as the "Dynamite Story" and it's great).

As far as the Blog goes, I'm also investing my own money into The BB.  I bought the domain name, I've commissioned a header for the site, and probably going to spend a lot of time learning how to code Wordpress.  This website is my lovechild.  I care for it, and you all get to enjoy the fruits of my labor.  All I really need you to do?  Enjoy, read, share, comment, ask me questions, etc.  I just want this to get big, if I never end up making a dime, that's alright with me (I probably will, I'm brilliant after all).

Yours truly
In all his Self-Indulgent Glory:
The Brilliant Bastard
